Michele Silver, Senior Associate, provides support and leadership to the Convergence Partnership, including analysis and strategy development to advance equity-focused policy and practice change that address health inequities facing low-income communities and communities of color. Michele also brings deep experience related to equitable food systems and works on good food procurement efforts at PolicyLink. Before joining PolicyLink, Michele worked for the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health, managing several evaluation and research projects examining healthy food initiatives in low-income neighborhoods in New York City. She has worked with a number of agencies and organizations, including city government, non-profits, small business and local economic development, community development, and affordable housing. She holds a master of science in urban policy analysis and management from The New School, and is currently a doctor of public health candidate at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health. Michele is always excited to spend time with good people, enjoying good food, exploring new places, and hanging out with her dog Lionel.
