Cynthia Bazan

Cynthia Bazan, Senior Program Assistant, coordinates the offices of the president and chief finance officer and provides administrative, research, and program support for the Convergence Partnership. Previously, Bazan worked as a biologics data steward for a birth defects research organization in Berkeley, California where she acted as a liaison between health study participants, researchers, and funders. 

Kass Cazier

Kass Cazier, Systems Administrator, coordinates information technology resources at PolicyLink, assessing the organization's computing and telecommunications needs and providing technical support to staff.  She previously worked in human resources at PolicyLink and at the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University, where she also served as local network administrator for seven years.

 

Ari Gluck, Manager of Information Systems, plans, implements and maintains the technology infrastructure of PolicyLink. Prior to joining PolicyLink, Gluck managed network services for Cain Travel and Financial Times Energy in Boulder, Colorado. He holds a BA from the University of California, Santa Cruz where he studied computer information sciences and history.

Rita A. Goldberger

Rita A. Goldberger, Accounting Manager, is responsible for all aspects of accounting, including payroll, financial statements, audit preparation, and special reports. Prior to joining PolicyLink, she was the accounting manager at the Foundation for National Progress.                

 

Victoria Holmes, Accounting Assistant, is a member of the accounting team responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions and assistant to the accounting manager. Prior to joining PolicyLink, Victoria held the position of financial administrator for National Community Development Institute, accounting assistant with The San Francisco Foundation for five years, and was on the initial infrastructure for the Marin Community Foundation as the grants accountant for 15 years.                

Lisa M. Johnson

Lisa M. Johnson, Administrative Coordinator, provides administrative support to the human resources team and the founder and CEO of PolicyLink. Previously, Johnson supported and conducted research for the Louisiana team and specifically assisted on projects related to affordable housing and civic engagement.  She has an extensive background in philanthropic programmatic initiatives, event and conference planning, and executive administrative support.

Alette Pittman

Alette Pittman, Office Manager, assists with operations and facilities management for the Oakland, California PolicyLink headquarters. Pittman has over 12 years of administrative experience, serving as a school secretary with Berkeley Unified Schools and as a lead customer service representative with Domino’s Pizza.

 

 

Montana Rane, Senior Network Engineer, works to maintain and improve the networking infrastructure at Policylink.  While focusing on the network and servers, he continues to support the technology needs of the PolicyLink staff in any way necessary to support the mission of the organization. He has been managing and maintaining networks at a wide range of organizations for the past 15 years.

 

Ashley Shaw-Scott, Executive Assistant, provides administrative and research support for founder and CEO Angela Glover Blackwell. Prior to joining PolicyLink, she started an organic bath and body product line for preteen and teen girls that encourages positive body images. In addition to running this ecommerce business, she championed girls’ empowerment by speaking at schools and non-profits to girls about believing in their personal strength. Shaw-Scott holds a BA in philosophy and visual arts from Stanford University and an MBA from INSEAD.

 

Yolanda Williams, Human Resources Assistant
