Learning & Leadership Network

Boys and Men of Color

Staffed by PolicyLink, the Learning and Leadership Network (LLN) is a body of researchers, community-based organizations, associations, advocates, and practitioners — all concerned with improving the health and well-being of boys and men of color throughout the state of California.

LLN participants are organized into five working groups focused on developing policy intervention strategies to narrow disparities and improve outcomes for boys and men of color. The five working groups include:

  • Health
  • Education
  • Workforce Training and Economic Development
  • Juvenile Justice
  • Foster Care

To develop policy strategies, LLN participants will rely on the most up-to-date data, research, policy thinking, and knowledge of best practices to address the crisis facing boys and men of color.
