Akintunde Ahmad, Journalist in Residence, is an Oakland native who works to create a steady drumbeat of thought leadership to support our communications strategies, telling authentic, asset-based stories of the 100 million through the lens of interviewing, researching, writing, and developing documentary film. Having earned a BA in sociology from Yale University and an MS in journalism and documentary film from Columbia University, 'Tunde' has published written work in outlets ranging from The Atlantic to The Columbia Journalism Review, and has served as a podcast host with StudioToBe and a non-fiction film producer with Proximity Media. In his free time, Tunde works to develop sustainable fashion in Ghana, and also enjoys playing with his two Italian Mastiffs.
