Heather Tamir, Editorial Manager, works closely with a team of writers, designers, and editors to produce a range of materials that reflect image and identity through consistent messages. She has worked extensively on publications and reports and played a key coordinating and editing role in the production of Uncommon Common Ground: Race and America’s Future (W.W. Norton, 2010), a book commissioned by The American Assembly. A journalist by training, Heather has worn multiple hats, having also served as a speechwriter and media strategist. In a former life, she worked as a research associate at the Rockefeller Foundation, holding positions in international and US-focused program areas. Heather was born and raised in Jamaica. Once an avid theatre-goer, she is working on rekindling that passion.
