Lauren Bigelow, Partnership for the Bay’s Future Fellow, works with the City of Palo Alto and Silicon Valley at Home to address the vulnerabilities that renters face by developing policies that provide renters with protections. Prior to joining the fellowship, Lauren worked at Palo Alto Housing and focused on empowering individuals by connecting them with housing, networks of community partners to help them thrive, and educating them about local policy and advocacy groups. Dedicated to the preservation and production of affordable housing, Lauren also serves as a Housing Commissioner in the City of Menlo Park in her spare time. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and social action from Palo Alto University and a BA in theatre and communications from Goucher College.
