Michelle Huang, Program Associate, provides data and research support as part of the National Equity Atlas team. A strong believer in the democratization of data to compel civic action, Michelle works with community partners to develop data tools and contributes to research and data analyses that further the case for equitable growth. Before joining PolicyLink, Michelle saw the power of accessible data in driving policymaking and community development first-hand at PolicyMap, and as an AmeriCorps VISTA member at CamConnect. She holds a master's in public health from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and a bachelor's in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Michelle also enjoys riding her bike, creating wheel-thrown pottery, and sharing home-cooked meals with friends and family.
