    City Solicits Bids to Run Buses

     

    Augusta hopes to build a better bus system by hiring a private management company to operate it. In December, the city sent out a bid request that seeks a company to run Augusta Public Transit. Commissioner Joe Bowles said the goal is to get the most benefit from available transit funds.
