Webinar
People need to live in places where they can get a good job; feel safe; be near quality schools, health clinics, libraries, parks, and grocery stores; and have access to transportation options. However, today, and far too often, the very things people need to participate in the economy are out of reach simply due to the cost of housing in high-opportunity neighborhoods, or because the neighborhoods people live in are fraught with the impacts of long-term disinvestment.

HUD is now working to change this. The Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule, soon to be released by HUD, will require cities, counties, states, and housing authorities to conduct assessments of fair housing. These assessments will guide the use of federal resources in these communities moving forward.

Please join this webinar to hear from Angela Glover Blackwell, Founder and CEO of PolicyLink, and public sector and equity leaders that will soon be announced, about the importance of the rule and how to get involved in ensuring your jurisdiction conducts an impactful assessment.
