Biography

Omar Stanton, Chief Impact Officer, leads PolicyLink’s evaluation and learning agenda. Experienced in process-improvement, program, performance, and project management, Omar utilizes a results-based approach to ensure PolicyLink’s strategies and performance are aligned with producing results for the 100M people in America living in or near poverty. He is intently focused on embedding/operationalizing results and the results framework into the culture of PolicyLink, creating staff buy-in and competency in the results framework and RBA as vital tools to move programmatic and organizational work forward, and developing a structured process and learning environment for teams to assess and improve their processes and strategies with an eye towards impact and results. Prior to joining PolicyLink, Omar served as VP of Data Analytics and Performance Management at The New Orleans Business Alliance, the city’s economic development agency. There he developed a continuous improvement culture steeped in data and implemented a performance and accountability system that drove internal performance while focusing on equitable economic outcomes for all New Orleanians. He is also Founder and Principal of LogiKall Consulting, a boutique consulting firm that drives non-profits, community-based, and philanthropic organizations to achieve equitable outcomes through logical and data-driven solutions. Previously, he served as Senior Project Manager of former Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s Innovation Delivery Team, managing his Economic Opportunity Strategy and NOLA FOR LIFE campaign. Omar holds a BA in Visual Arts (Dillard University), an MBA in Human Resources Management (Baker College), and a Master of Science in Strategic Management (Indiana Wesleyan University). He is a Certified Results-Based Accountability (RBA) and Project Management Professional (PMP) and a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated.
