Leveraging Disaggregated Data to Advance Equitable Growth in Smaller Communities

Data that is disaggregated by race and geography can be a powerful tool to develop and advance equitable growth strategies. This webinar highlights the release of equity data profiles for Las Cruces and Farmington, New Mexico; Biloxi and Sunflower County, Mississippi; and Battle Creek, Michigan. With support from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, and in partnership with the University of Southern California’s Program for Environmental and Regional Equity, PolicyLink has developed analyses of these five localities across a number of indicators relating to demographic change, social and economic equity, and the potential economic benefits of racial inclusion. Following the data presentation, local community leaders in these cities will share how they plan to use the data to advance their work.
