An Oral History of the First 22 Years of PolicyLink

In late 2020, PolicyLink embarked on a journey to remember its history.  Interviews were conducted with fifteen people with strong connections to the organization’s origins. 

It is a pleasure to share the results of that effort, a film that recalls the early PolicyLink vision and the continuing stories that sustain it. 

Twenty-two years ago, PolicyLink set in motion events that birthed a unique and beautiful movement. Today, remembering how we got here is essential. Our origin stories remain sources of inspiration and motivation, driving our efforts and continuing to attract new champions as well.
